I was watching GMA and there was a commercial for The View that said something like "Find out why Neil Patrick Harris is the new Internet sensation, today on The View."    I can think of few other reasons I would watch the show, but I think I'll try today.

Here are the Dr. Horrible questions, if you don't care about HIMYM (and if you don't, you're a bad bad person, and not in the good horrible way either):


Vienna, Va.: Did Dr. Horrible try to warn Captain Hammer about the broken Freeze Ray just before Captain Hammer pulled the trigger?

Neil Patrick Harris: He did. He is human, after all. But he does manage a smirk when an injured Hammer runs out of the room, so he's far from perfect.


Washington, D.C.: I thought Joss Whedon was calling in favors to make "Dr. Horrible." How did you get mixed up in that project?

Neil Patrick Harris: I've been clamoring to work with him since "Firefly."

He's supertastic.

When he mentioned super villain and musical, I drooled.


Los Angeles: What was your favorite "Dr. Horrible" moment or song?

Neil Patrick Harris: Loved "Brand New Day." The lyrics were a challenge to learn. Very "Rent."

Also loved "My Eyes." That was a great duet. Fun notes to sing.


Fairfax, Va.: Everyone who's watched"Dr. Horrible" knows you can sing, and pull an evil laugh. Joss Whedon's often made reference (jokingly, perhaps, it is hard to tell with that man) to a potential live form of "Dr. Horrible." Would you be interested in even a one-night "Dr. Horrible Live" on stage?

Neil Patrick Harris: Only at Lincoln center. And only with a Greek chorus.

I haven't actually done more than comment and gank icons in the past, but I woke up just now and something completely random occurred to me as I stumbled out of bed:

Moist. And specifically his line, "At my most badass, I make people want to take a shower."

I'm guessing he has enough "evil hours" to get into the Henchmen's Union, thus his knowledge of it and extended invitation to Dr. Horrible. And in Act III, he does seem to be acting in the henchman capacity for the good evil Doctor.

So I'm just wondering: what Evil Acts would Moist have perpetrated in order to get into the HU? What moistly things could he do?

One thing that jumped immediately to my mind was that he could shake peoples' hands and pull their rings off as he pulls his hand away - all your beloved wedding trinkets and expensive bling, GONE!

Umm....soak the Mayor's newspaper in the morning so that it falls apart when he tries to read it? Or maybe even soak some of the Mayor's confidential and important mail so that he can't open and read that? If he could get into the office, he could pretty much wreck their files - or their computers! There's a possibility!

So if you were Moist and had all his powers of....um....sogginess, what evil would you do?

Hi guys! First of all, i'm italian and i don't speak english very well XD
Season 2 of Supernatural is finally on-air since June 24, 2008, with great ratings but still air at 11:40PM (sometimes at 11:20PM or 11:05PM) on Tuesdays night with 2 episodes per week.
The lead-in for the first 6 episodes was Close to Home (CBS) (followed by The Nine (ABC)). For the episodes 7 and 8 the lead-in was a football game. The lead-in for the next episodes is Cobra 11 (a German series), due to the timeslot change of Close to Home and The Nine.

So, here are the ratings with italian names:

2x01 - "Nel momento della morte" 660.000 - 6,77% 
2x02 - "Tutti amano i Clown" 596.000 - 9,22%

If you get the Cable Channel G4, they are running coverage of Day 1 of ComicCon until 3AM, and repeating Day 1 again tomorrow at noon, (EST) and I would assume they will be having coverage all week-end. Who knows? Maybe we shall see some of the SPN stuff. 

Didn't see this mentioned, but according to tvshowsondvd.com, Warner Home Video has announced that Season Three of Supernatural will be released in high defintion on Blu Ray disc.

The catch? Unlike the regular version of the DVD which will be released September 2nd, the Blu Ray discs will not be available until November 11, 2008.

The Blu Ray dics will contain all the same bonus features as the regular DVD (including the bonus digital copy of the entire season) and will retail for $79.98

Hopefully, this means future seasons will be released in Blu Ray at the same time as the regular DVDs, and perhaps season 1 & 2 will be re-released as well.

Then I might consider making the conversion to a Blu Ray player.

As mentioned in this post, yesterday there was a John Barrowman-hosted BBC show about his research for reasons of gayness.

Did anyone catch that? The show was great, though I'm not sure how much we can discuss it in this comm, however one thing is definitely worth mention:
I had no idea John slips into almost perfect scottish accent whenever he's near his parents. It was FREAKY...

Just how many more secret scottish accents are there on Doctor Who? :P

Does anyone know where I could find an animated icon of Billy smirking before he begins to sing "Brand New Day"? I could have sworn I had seen it somewhere, but this is a very active community and I can't seem to find it.
